Karina Häuslmeier is the Deputy Head of Mission at the German Embassy Ottawa and Head of the Embassy’s Science and Economic Affairs Department. Previously, she was Deputy Special Representative for Relations with Jewish Organizations, Issues relating to Antisemitism, International Sinti and Roma Affairs and Holocaust Remembrance in Berlin. In the Foreign Office, she worked on energy-related issues and relations with North America and South East Asia and she was posted at the German Embassy Cairo. Karina has a background in International Business and Culture Studies and European Studies and was President of AEGEE-Europe.
